Workshop - AI in Gastroenterology

The workshop “AI in Gastroenterology”, preceding symposium 236, will cover all aspects of artificial intelligence in endoscopy. The various sessions in the morning will touch upon basics of AI (machine learning, data collection and the concept of uncertainty), followed by the detection, diagnosis and treatment all the way from esophageal disorders thru colonoscopy, as well as pancreatobiliary disorders.
In the afternoon, AI in education as well as ethical and legal considerations will be discussed, followed by an introduction to large language models and a state of the art lecture around future directions of AI in gastroenterology.
